Hi! I am unfortunately vertically challenged and fit perfectly into 13” shin pads. I wear super tacks jr right now but they make my legs look huge and hover off awful far. Plus the straps don’t go around my legs as they are for kids. I have to use Velcro straps and loads of tape and even still they don’t sit flat against my shin.

The pro stock jofa, Reebok and CCM seem to have the same shell but a memory foam liner that would probably sit better. I assume it’s a a protective as the super tacks because the prism block 100mph slap shots with them.

I can only ever find the rare 14 and many 15,16,17s. Do jr size 13 even exist? I do want a high level of protection so I want good pads. Thanks!

Yes, they do but they're essentially unobtanium at this point. I have a pair of 13" jofa 5090s and it took me years to find them

Bauer offered 13 inch senior nexus shins for years if you can make those work.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the super tacks. They are just so thick on my legs. Sucks they rarely go smaller. I totally get most NHLers aren’t 5’4 and female. I just really wanted to try some out with the memory foam style liner. The 1N I found just as big and made a choice price wise at the time. Like today I fell directly on my knee and it protected so well.

Might be a shot in the dark for the smaller sizes, but I got myself a set of 17" 9Ks and sawed off a bit (didn't measure in inches) at the bottom to make them fit like my 15" shins, and then re-glued (was too lazy to stitch) back the skate protector wrap to the bottom. If you look at pics of pro-stock / Jofa / Rbk you can see that at least the larger sizes have a very large "straight" area at the bottom, and the smaller sizes still have a little - however I never tried to cut a smaller size.

I thought about cutting a pair down but I don’t know how good my abilities are lol. It’s not a huge deal I was just curious if they existed to buy. I just want something that fits more flush and is protective.

I feel ya. I need 13" shins as well. I've been wearing Warrior Bully for years and they are tanks without looking huge. somewhere I have a pair of Jofa in the VERY rare 12.5".

it really annoys me that even retail senior 13" shins are becoming impossible to find.

always looking for non Reebok L & XL shells......

i know! I even would settle for 13 sr. But nope. The jr just don’t fit adult legs well. I’m looking at even getting the strap extended but it still doesn’t make up for how it hovers off my leg. The price reduction was nice but none fit good

You can buy 14" pro stock shins and then just modify them to fit. We do that all the time for the local teams.

I am in the same boat, short and stocky and have thick legs.  I found nexus to work the best for me.  Only place i've seen any is on ebay (Bauer Nexus 8000's) 13" from a seller in Latvia. Bought a pair and no complaints.  I've been out of the retail side for approx four years now but I believe they don't make the nexus anymore.  I'm sure one of the shop guys here can conform/deny that.
