Hi all,

Looking to see who might have the best advice on repairing pants. I have a rip on the right leg right under the thigh pad, where the nylon and inside material come together. The actual nylon and inside material are fine, it's just the seam where the two are stitched together that has ripped which allows the thigh pad to slide out.

Obviously I can look at stitching the two materials back together but just wondering if anyone has a better idea to fix them before I go that route?

I mean, you could use tape as a temporary fix, but if stitching popped, why wouldn't you want to stitch it back together?

I had a pair or two of the Warrior prostockhockey.com specials that had thigh boards fall out. I used some thick, wide elastic trim from my wife's craft room and sewed it into the bottom of the pocket-thingy where the pad lives. Haven't had the same problem since.
