I’m interested in giving Warrior helmets a try. I was hoping for some comparison help. My favorite helmet of all time I’d say was an IMS 9.0, I’ve also had a good run with V08s and though ugly the 11k was good too. Typically a medium in all of these helmets. I also tried the Reakt 200 but it was way overbuilt. If so what Warrior bucket makes the most sense to try and what’s the size comparison? Are they even any good?

I was in a V08 for a long time and made the switch to the PX2 when Warrior started sponsoring a team I was on. V08 is a small and Warrior PX2 is a Medium. Size wise, these two fit about the same. I wouldn't say I hated it, but overall just wasn't happy. The biggest issue I had was the back of the helmet came down very low and I could feel it toward my neck. Overall I feel like this specific helmet was very deep. I went back to my V08 after one skate.

I had a px+ (past helmets include mission intake VN, CCM v08, ims9.0, Reebok 4K,7k)

It was hot and quite heavy. I don’t sweat much but this thing was awful. Comfort wise it was ok but the weight was a deterrent. It did work. Had a couple hard slams on it and took a puck off it but only wore it for maybe half a season.

I went back to my 4K and v08s I still have. Just prefer the VN only.

I used the Alpha Pro briefly and the BOA adjustment is nice and it was a comfortable helmet. It was more comfortable on my head than other current models and lighter than most, but I was spoiled by the weight of the Easton E700; so I went back to that when I managed to snag some more of those. If those all broke and I was looking today, I would consider the Alpha Pro again.

I just switched to a Warrior QS Pro after a few years with a Bauer Re-akt 150 (both with cages). The foam is significantly stiffer, I don't recall the Bauer being so stiff when I first put it on. The chin cup fits my much better, overall I feel like the cage is closer to my face. I think I had better visibility with the Bauer cage, so might try some different options on the Warrior to see if that feeling goes away. They're both mediums, but I'm .5cm away from the max diameter for the Warrior so it's pretty snug comparatively.
