What pattern are you using?
What WERE you using and why did you switch?
What have you tried?

I’m currently using a P28

I was using a P91a/P92/P88 and switched to improve my shot and I was bored

I’ve tried: P14/P92/P92 Lie 5/P88/P30

I’m considering switching back to P88 or P92. I liked the P30 but they’re killing the pattern off and I ended up going back to a P92. I have a hard shot with the P28 but no back hand and it’s not a pattern you can shoot puck off of anywhere on the blade. Shot placement is high glove almost every time and placement isn’t as easy as blander patterns for me.

P28/W28 for me I usually end up 18-24" from the net just makes it quicker to get it up.......the puck too...

P91A

Ive been trying to switch, because P91A is getting hard to get.

Currently trying P28 and P88, but nothing feels like my good old P91A.

I use the Benn pro/P90T. Used P28 for around five years before that, and used P92 growing up through minor hockey. Every now and then I guess I just feel like trying something different to switch it up.

Lot of guys I know went from Drury to P28 because at the right length it essentially turns into a P91a with a toe. Duchene just made the switch from Sakic pro, Kevan Miller went from P91a to P28 too.

Kessel, have been using it for about 4 years or so. Started out using one because of the lie, and flex. everything else felt too upright, ended up liking the curve and have stuck with it.

Using the p28. I found that most of my misses are high like probably everyone. Slap shot is pretty good, snap and wrist shots are solid. Saucer passes on it are awesome. Back hands suck on it. Stick handling is ok with it. You need to be aware that the puck needs to be in the flat part middle heel area to get good height speed off the back hand.

been using p92 for awhile, i tinkered with the p28 but just couldn't seem to get consistency out of it for my style of play.

P88 for me since the days of youth hockey and Supreme 3030 wooden sticks.  I do have one P92 and one P28 stick because I wanted to try them out but the P88 always just feels right so there is no reason to switch.  Maybe if the curve ever gets killed off I'll make the switch to a P92 but until then I don't see me switching.

I have considered switching to the P92 or P90T/Benn pro. I find myself to be very accurate with the P28 when time allows it but a faster game and it suffers. It’s like a .357 Sig vs 9mm. Shot placement/capacity/follow up shots are much more important than having the more potent round.

P90T is a perfect middle ground between the P28 and P92 IMO.

P10 variant with a flatter heel. Awesome to handle pucks with if you can get used to the rocker and lie of the blade.

Bounced around several different patterns over the past few years, but I've always gone back to the Lidstrom. I recently got away from it because I couldn't find low-lie Lidstroms (apart from True's HCS, which is listed at lie 5.5 but plays more like a 5), and I was using BASE's lie 4.75 Drury and several different lie 5 Sakics. However, I don't think the lower lie makes that much of a difference for me. I rotate a few different patterns, including high and low lie Lidstroms, Drurys, and Sakics, but I still like the Lidstrom best. The Drury is too much of a wedge for my taste, the Sakic doesn't have enough heel, and the Lidstrom has a nice square toe. I think my ideal custom pattern would be a lie 5 max height Lidstrom (which would look brutal, but would probably be great to play).

Was a heel guy for years Brind’amour . Last year I switched to a W28 , best pattern i ever used . I have been using the EK65 but having a hard time to find more at a reasonable price . I have a contact at warrior but they’re 196$ per stick and minimum 4 plus ship .
