What do you guys do to repair tears on boot liners?

Other than just ignoring it and letting it go, wonder if there’s any fix for torn ankle liners. My other skates have leather wear pads along the top. Maybe glue/stitch something like that in? Have any of you done something to repair tears?

whatever you do just becareful because a seam or stitch could rub your ankle worse than just leaving it

I have used moleskin. Just cut some to size, stick it on and replace when/if needed. I found it stuck for several months without issue. My wear was lower where my accessory navicular bone is; so YMMV. It looks like your wear may be caused by your shin guards so the moleskin may come off easier. You could use contact cement or another adhesive to glue it in place if necessary.
