hi do any of you guys are ultra sonic users ? i had some issues with thoses skates , purchased them a month ago , i have wide feet and the bauer scan said 6.5 EE so i got 6.5 fit3 , my toes dont even touch the toe cap , at the beginning they were fine .. after 2 weeks of use i noticed that i had pain on my big toe bone joint on my left foot , i was starting to get a bunion foot .. i had so much pain , i got them mold twice and the area where i have pain is really hard to get "punched" as my Girlfriend a physio she told me your skate are not wide enough so you get pressure on your bone everytime you are skating .. but my vapor old skates are 6.5EA and even vapors are narrower and i dont feel any pain .. a friend of mine got some custom ultra sonic skates and he got the same problem as me .. now im wearing a toe gel spacer to get my bone fixed and get his normal shape back .. looks like ultrasonic toe cap is narrower or
something wrong with that line .. the way they are build i dont know .. so now the retail store , took all the information and they will work with a bauer rep to get me another pair of skates .. how is your experience so far with ultra sonic skates ?

Developing a bunion that quickly is wild. I don’t have those skates and reading your post, it looks like you’ve used Bauer before so we can’t really blame it on the “Bauer bump”. That sucks though, hopefully the retail dealer can get you set up in another pair, they’re way too expensive to just have to live with the pain. All I can say is since you’re spending that much on the top of the line model, it probably makes sense to just spend the extra money on full customs. I wear CCMs but I can honestly say I’ve never had one single pain or issue with the full custom treatment

I have never felt more discomfort in a skate than I did with my Ultra Sonics. The entire outside of both feet from my pinky toes to heels ached like hell for some reason. Now I’ve had pain from certain skates many times in the past, but we have always been able to sort the issue out. My skate guy couldn’t do anything to the skate to fix the ache in my feet. We tried all the regular stuff like rebaking and different insoles but the fit was right so it didn’t call for anything else. Lucky enough he filled out some forms saying there was something wrong with the skates and I got a store credit for the entire amount.
