"What is your lowest/best price?" is NOT an offer.

It blows my mind that a start up would be this clueless with their customer support. Especially for a product that looks unfinished like this helmet, it’s probably the reason I’ll never switch from CCM. I go with what I know and trust

I'm shocked that verbero is putting that horribly 3d printed crap on their site. It's badly printed, not even sanded, and not finished correctly at all. It looks like the first print of a first year university student who just got the printer that morning, it's so bad.

I hope these don’t get CSA approval. They don’t seem safe or sturdy at all.

my thinking...if they put such little effort into the exterior fit & finish of it, how can I believe that there was any more time spent on actually designing it to protect my head? I had 4 diagnosed concussions before I was in HS, have never cared about protection a bucket provides beyond being on my head, and wouldn't dream of using that thing. why would you? is the argument to be made that this tiny niche company of 5 or 10 people is more skilled at producing protective headwear than CCM or Bauer - regardless of appearance - that've done it longer than most of us have been alive? I don't think they'd come out of that a winner...

Oh man... I’m shocked they got approval. As was mentioned with how poor the finish was on them I’m stunned they got it.

I get it when helmets don’t feel right. It ruins your entire game. The crushing headaches and the uncomfy feeling. I got lucky and found a helmet that fits like a glove at retail (v08) bur I tried like 5 helmets before I found this one.

It’s a great concept. It’s just horribly executed. Horrible customer service gets you nowhere.

Maybe when the Super Tacks X helmet comes out with the 3D custom moulded liner it would help you. I just hope you get a refund so you’re not out hundreds of dollars.

I paid with a credit card and it's been over 3 months with zero product in my hands, so I'm optimistic I'll be refunded when the dispute ends on the 10th. That doesn't make it any less frustrating though; I'm not going to sit back and let them take my money.

I checked out the Super Tacks X, the design is intriguing but I will probably stick with helmets I can try on and tinker with in person.

thats good. Usually the credit card companies are super good to get refunds with. Unacceptable for an up and coming company to be this bad this soon. I’m not shocked at all Verbero is teaming up with them. They make such subpar gear. I had a pair of gloves that was so bad from them it was laughable compared to anything I used. Just throw these helmets in and it’s hilarious.

And I don’t blame you at all. Here’s to hoping you find something that works!

Thanks, the Tacks 710 helmets work well for me right now. The just need to be washed after every use because they tend to soak up a ton of sweat and smell terrible after a few skates. I will most likely just continue using those unless something else comes out that fits even better.

the thumbs on the dextra series gloves I had scared me. so thin & hollow. stupidly, I removed the backhand & finger blockers as well. lost $100 flipping them. absolutely zero surprise the company bringing out that garbage is the one picking up these guys, who seemingly can't resolve a single customer's laundry list of concerns about their product - or even address them.

After a visit to the bank, it appears I may be getting my money back. Fingers crossed!

Right? I spent 50+shipping USD on them. Falling apart out of the box. The plastic inserts were pointless as I bet you’d break you hand from a well placed slash. Horrible foam package, thin cheap palm, the gussets were the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced and over engineered much? Why so many breaks? So many gaps to get hit in. I refused to wear them in a game. Sold them for 15$.

I did though like the Farrell style slash guards but I went to longer elbow pads and no longer need them but they weren’t terrible. Just a bit bulky and interferes with the glove.

That’s good to hear! Was it your bank or them?
