Title basically says it all, but what are the differences between the yellow Silver Shield and the blue Covert liner offered on Warrior gloves? Getting backhands replaced on a pair of gloves and was given the option. I've only ever had blue liners on Covert gloves. Tried searching and came up empty.

Thanks!

Cheers,

Matt

IMO Covert liner breathes much better. Silver Shield liner has a very soft touch but doesn't breathe as well as Covert. Also some members on the forum told me Silver Shield could get stained very easily, but I haven't had this problem on the gloves I own.

I can speak to the yellow silver shield getting dirty. Arguably no dirtier than the blue but it just shows much more. Have cleaned a few pairs now and agree with the soft touch comment.

I have the same issue on my franchise with the dirty look. They are dried out constantly but after 3 years of use they are dirty in the cuff. Could definitely just be the colour difference. Honestly stick with what you know if the price is the same.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Never had a problem with the blue liners being rough to the touch and since Warrior gloves tend to run warm anyway, I'll take all the breathability I can get!

Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t the blue liners have little vent holes in the top as well? I briefly had a pair of QRL gloves and my franchise don’t have the holes.

Not all of them, no. Not sure what the difference is, but I've had multiple pairs of QRL and QRE (all pro stock) with and without holes in the backhand liner
