Are these kids using pro stock? Do we know what model (I assume Bauer) the Nike pants are? Why do they rebrand them anyway for Nike advertising - why not advertise Bauer so that people seeing it will want Bauer pants too - instead of Nike pants that aren’t sold anywhere

anyway - let’s discuss what you guys see along with any equipment images that come up

Probably Nexus. I’ve only seen Supreme stuff for WCH or Olympics.

It’s Nike branded because of the advertising dollars.

Custom everything.

They are normally using, shells, Nexus or Supreme pants I believe.

Because in the IIHF the pants/shell are considered part of the uniform along with the sweater and socks. Nike is the exclusive IIHF uniform provider.

Same with USNTDP, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and on and on. Uniform deal. Hockey pants are part of the uniform.

They're nexus pants or shells now. Used to always be supreme until a few years ago now those are basically out of production

If you watch the winter Olympics Canada is also pretty damn good at skiing, snowboarding, speed skating, figure skating. Historically, they've been pretty good at sprinting in the summer as well. So it's not only hockey. Plus, the US, Sweden, Finland and Russia can ice teams that compete with the Canadian teams; it just depends on the year and the tournament.

I think a US vs. Canada gold medal game this year could be pretty damn entertaining and could go either way (assuming the US gets by Finland, but from watching the games; team USA looks better than Finland from what I've seen). Zegras has been the best player of the tournament IMHO.
