I'm curious if they're actually going to skate on a frozen lake up there? Or if they're going to make the same kind of outdoor setup they typically make for outdoor games. The video mentioned 'lake hockey' a few times

The rendering was a rink overlooking the lake. Too much risk and liability putting NHLers on a frozen lake. Hundreds of Millions of dollars worth.

I mean, that was my whole point. Didn't make any sense from a liability standpoint given that they'd have to rely on Mother Nature to cooperate. But it's not at all 'lake hockey' other than the fact it's in the mountains instead of a stadium. Regardless, I'll be interested to see the exact location. Might drive up with a pair of binoculars and a radio. lol!

I'm very curious as well, considering Tahoe is only 3 hours and they'd probably have outdoor rinks to skate on as well.
