Ive been using a 2XU compression tights with built in jock / velcro for the last few years. It’s now coming apart at the seams but 2XU has exited the hockey market.

Does anyone know of a close alternative? I’ve heard good things about shock doctor but I haven’t seen any in person for comparison.

For those who aren’t familiar, 2XU is a heavy duty compression. I’ve looked at CCM and Bauer but I don’t find the compression as tight as 2XU.

An alternative I’ve thought of is getting a pair of 2XU tights and a separate jock but I’m not 100% sold on that option.

Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve been using these TSLA tops and bottoms for a few years now and they’ve been awesome! They offer good compression, obviously good mobility, good breath ability, they’re comfortable, and they’re inexpensive. Have a set of ventilated tops/bottoms and non-ventilated depending on the season and how cold the rink is.

I pair them with a CCM jock/garter combo because apparently I’m an old timer and don’t like Velcro

2XU is still huge in the running market. I use (or used to at the moment) their stuff for races all the time. I currently use tights with a separate jock for hockey and that works extremely well for me, I'd recommend giving it a try.

Great! Thanks for the info. I think I might try the separate Jock approach. May need to do some mods to the standard 2XU tights to add velcro.
