Hi. I have a few questions about these pants. I found a new made in Canada franchise pant in XL

I currently wear L CCM Super tacks retail pants and they fit good. Good weight. Protective. I have worn XL too but I ripped that pair and sized down when I found these on clearance. Both seemed to fit good.

How does the franchise pants fit? How is the weight compared to the tacks? Is it a more traditional fit? I am 5’6 and have very wide hips and in ordering them online so I can’t try them and I’m afraid they are going to be waaaay too long. My XL tacks i has we’re a tad long which is fine but I don’t want these to be enormous in comparison.

Thanks!

If you're between an L and XL I have a feeling they'll be massive. I wear a medium in pretty much every pant except CCM HPUCL's where I need a large. Medium Franchises were way too long on me and I had to go with a small. The length was about right in the small but the spine protector actually went up way too high for my liking and I just didn't like the overall feel. They're also a pretty heavy and bulky pant compared to most that you would find at retail

okay this is exactly what I needed to know. I wear a large comfortably but I can wear an xL I just have the belt tighter. The length wasn’t a huge difference on the tacks. The protection is more than enough for me. I just saw them and thought they were different and made in Canada. I love my franchise gloves.

The franchise are older so I figured the weight would be more but ya my main concern was the length. I can deal with the width.

And no I haven’t ever used a girdle. I have been considering giving one a go one of these days that’s for sure.

I’ll echo this. Don’t go up a size in the warriors

Good Idea; Whistling while you work.

Bad Idea; Whistling while you eat.

Thanks for everyone’s feedback. Sad because they were so cheap and new.
