I’d like to snag a few of these and try to extract the tapered plugs. If you’ve broken one or several let me know
So far I’ve seen Seguin, Benn and Honka versions between Warrior and Bauer

Sorry for the ignorance. Is there something special about these tapered plugs different than retail?

pretty noticeably different, yes. It's more round than yo could do to a standard stick with a sander. Bauer used to refer to it as Wheelbarrow handle. Warriors plugs have straight edges throughout that taper down and are also very prone to breakage
