CCM 100K SKATES

I'm a Ribcor wearer and own the 50K, 70K, and 80K skates, all of which fit me like slippers after a bake and 1-2 skates. However, I am not a fan of the fit of the 100K skates. I baked and tried skating on them, but just couldn't get them to work. The toe box is way more narrow and cramped than previous iterations, even in the regular fit. I tried the wide at a shop and my foot was swimming in them, however the toe box was still too tight.
If you have a narrow foot and wear classic Vapor or Jetspeed skates but want the features of the Ribcor, these will probably work for you.
"What is your lowest/best price?" is NOT an offer.

I was going to try these on, as well as the Super Tacks models, tomorrow. I'll let you know what I think. I'm in Bauer 1S right now and they're starting to hurt my feet. I want to take some time to ensure I get a really good fit if I'm going to splurge on some new skates, because I think the fit might be off on my 1S, which could be affecting my skating. I had the 70Ks and the 1S and settled on the 1S, which in hindsight may not have been the best choice.

How are the 50k and 70k fit compared to the 11k and 20k?

Unfortunately the toe box itself was the issue for me, not just the forefoot by the bottom two eyelets. I was debating stretching that area on my boot stretcher, but my toes were jammed in the box itself so it wouldn't have solved the whole issue. My hope is that a pro return 100K with standard toe box and tongues will be available one of these days. I loved the rest of the boots.

I've never worn either of those skates, but the 2013 Reebok Ribcor was more narrow than the 20K line. The 2015 50K fits very similarly to the 2013 Reebok Ribcor. The 70K is a tad wider, but more anatomically fitting than the 50K with a more flexible boot and more memory foams in the liner.

Unfortunately, that is the biggest flaw with the newer CCM skates. There is nothing you can do about the toe seam and baking, stretching, and punching won't do anything. Trying to stretch or punch that area out can lead to breakage of the toe cap and/or the stitching/rivets that hold the toe box together. You can punch behind the bottom eyelet for some relief, also you may be able to put a thin stick-on gel pad on that spot for some relief. Otherwise, the best choice would be returning them and putting the money toward a different pair.

Ended up returning the 100ks and picked up a pair of essentially new FT2s. Never even skated the 100ks. Fit and feel was great other than the toe cap, it was unbearable. Coming from FT1s so hope all goes well
How did the return go? I’ve been looking at new skates and what has me really interested in the satisfaction guarantee especially for so long. Enough time for me to really like or dislike some skates.
