There's a pair on SLS for an absurd price, pretty sure the guy has an account on here so maybe you can talk some sense into him:

For that price I would expect flex thumbs and the D3O padding in the fingers but they look pretty stock to me with the exception f the shot blockers.

Good call, I didn't even realize he posted in here.  When I said absurd price I really meant I miss the days when pro stock gloves were sub $100 brand new, crazy what some stuff is going for these days

Ah, sorry guys!  I didn't really want to sell those HG12's as it's my favorite model of gloves in the only size and color I like.  I felt bad when @topsnipe originally PM'ed me back on October 9th and had to explain my dilemma (see below).  I gave him a heads up whenever other 13" HG12's became available elsewhere, but unfortunately those usually weren't all black.

 

With certain items like the 13" HG12 or 1X Lite shins (unicorns to me), I'll struggle with an internal conflict where I just can't get myself to sell that item... but a part of me knows I should sell it since I have tons of gear already and could use the money.  So I trap myself by quickly listing it before I can change my mind and setting a high enough price that I would be unable to rationalize cancelling the sale.  Check-mate, me.  The only way to win against myself is to lose.

 

I've surprised (and disappointed) myself a few times when certain things actually sold.  Packing and shipping those items were difficult (and even a bit emotional).  I know, I'm a total head case.  I deserve the hate.

Thanks for the kind words, Jake!  Sorry, I haven't gotten my sh*t together yet. I still hope to do a franken-(shoulder)-pads project, an elbow pad repair, and possibly a skate repair job with you, but I haven't found the time yet.

I totally get it with the struggle to part with certain items.  Also, I've realized the price for HG12's has gone way up over the past year so my original comment of the price being "absurd" was more of me being out of touch with the current pricing, I'm still in disbelief what they're all fetching but honestly they're my favorite model by far.
