Reason for asking is that I recently bought a pair of Fit 2 3X pro and the volume is great but the forefoot width is too narrow for me. I’ve found a pair of closeout 2X pro online in a EE so I’m wondering if I’ll get the width I’m looking for with those.

Not sure if this is relevant to your search, but I've found the Fit 2 inconsistent between the 2X Pro and the HyperLite. It's supposed to be identical, but my foot says otherwise. I could NOT get good heel lock in the 2X Pro in Fit 2. Once I tried on the HyperLite in Fit 2, it was much better. I'm pretty sure I've seen other people comment on this, too.
I dunno... maybe they had issues when they tried to go back and retrofit the 2X line to the Fit system?

Wondering if anyone has any insight on the new Bauer fit system and how it has changed the fit of the 2X pro. I know the 2X pro was originally available in D/EE but it has since adopted the 1,2,3 fit system.

I pulled the trigger on the 2X pro’s. Happened to stop in to a hockey shop that gets the London Knights old gear and they had a used Knights pair in my size so I got to try them on before I snagged the new pair I was eyeing. The EE are definitely wider in the forefoot than the Fit 2.
