Hey Guys , Have interest in a pair of True custom pro stocks that were not scanned to my feet. Sent picture of barcode to True & size & width are good for me. They said only build outs are in ankles , what does that mean , they have shotblockers , are wider in ankles. Waiting to hear back from true. Was hoping someone here would know. Thanks

I'll be the first one to say go for it. I've bought true skates that were not scanned for my feet before. Size and width were good, a little hard to put on the first time but baked them a couple times and they fit like a glove.

agree with the above. as long as you don't have freaky feet or the original owner doesn't have freaky feet, you should be good once you bake them.

always looking for non Reebok L & XL shells......

Yes , I had a pair of 2016 Vh's , seller listed them as 7.5D ( my ccm , bauer , graf size ) , sent barcode to true & they said they were 7.75 . They fit great , but I hated the hassle it is to put them on & take off , they had the older brown liner. Sold them , decided to get back in trues a few months ago. Bought a pair on SLS that seller listed as 7.5D. After approving sale , sent barcode to True & they said they were 8.5W ( got screwed ). So now I send barcode on this pair ( seller was nice enough to post it ) & True confirmed  they are 7.5D & the only buildouts are on ankle's. Just want to find out what buildouts on ankle is for sure , shotblockers , more width ?

Where'd you contact them through to get the specs? I have a pair I had actually scanned to my feet, but it'd be interesting to get the actual specs they were built to. I don't recall getting any of that when I ordered them or received them.

True got back to me & said the buildout around the ankles is just a little extra room. bought the skates , new , w/ speedblade 4.0 holders , no runners. $300 , not bad
