I need some advice for new skates. My VH skates I had were low cut but stiff enough to provide good feel. I had good forward flex in the skates and they weren’t cut to high. Once those died I order a pair of trues and I felt like they were cut higher and didn’t provide the same forward bend. What skates are lower cut would provide me that forward bend I’m missing. I have dropped eyelets in newer skates but still don’t get the feel I’m looking for.

Do you still have your original VH skates? If so, maybe you can send the boots to True and have them replicate a new boot based on those specs + your newest foot measurements?

"What is your lowest/best price?" is NOT an offer.

Graf was lower cut. I think the newer models from 9035 on have been higher. I haven’t seen them in person, so I’m not certain.

I don’t have them still but true says they still have my old order and I still have my VH spec sheet

Graf 703 have a low cut & with the cobra holders , you get the forward pitch. Had a pair , very low volume skate.

I was going to mention Easton Makos as well, but I saw that you're selling them. Graf 9035/7700/7900 are higher cut. I'd ask True if they can recreate a boot based on your old VH spec sheet, but I'm not a True rep so I'm not 100% sure it's possible.

Have a pair of pk 7900's , medium volume skate , well built. I get great heel lock with them. Check out the graf site , they give a great breakdown on both models. Say's the G9000's have a wide heel , i think they are a deep high volume skate.   grafhockey.com

Graf will still make customs of any boot they offer and can make them lower cut to your preferences

Makos were fair, not great though
