I just saw Guhle with a tinted visor tonight. Just like Gally and other players like Dach, are these visor are made to reduce the reflection of the ice or it’s a concussion thing. What are the purpose?

I noticed it too, I  always thought players needed a permission to use a tinted visor?

Some of the guys wear it for light-sensitivity and eye-fatigue that comes about post-concussion. James Neal and David Perron come to mind.

Also, I could see some guys that suffer from migraines taking advantage of it as well. Could help reduce the light-induced migraines that some guys get.

A player was wearing a pink visor due to an eye disease that caused deterioration of vision and severe headaches from the bright tv lights and reflection off the glass. He didn't want to wear it, but the team and doctors put it on his helmet. He uses eye drops between periods as well.

- Always looking for new style stars gear, particularly Bauer!

I use a tinted Oakley visor for outdoor pond hockey and it helps with the glare. Some other guys wear ski goggles and Oakley sunglasses.

"What is your lowest/best price?" is NOT an offer.
