I have never been a Warrior stick person, but If I get a chance, I might give the custom stick program a try.
Not yet available, but it will be on http://www.mywarriorhockey.com/ soon.

Dupes, I wasn't (and for the most part still not) a warrior stick person either, but the widow is a pretty nice stick just pretty expensive. For the money, I really like Base sticks. Mine has taken a beating and still going strong. I do like how Warrior is stepping up and bring new actual Pro patterns to the custom line- something that Easton and Bauer need to do.
Yetso, "should" is right. Hopefully they make it on time. Seeing the Ads for it in magazines promoting the July release has me optimistic that it will be in fact in July.

I tip my hat to Warrior for having the corazon to make their custom stick program a reality!!! They are easily raising the bar a bunch of notches and empowering the every day joe a way to get a custom stick with either a retail or pro pattern. I am looking forward to the release of the program sometime in July; it will be tough deciding to either get custom mitts or a custom stick; but it will be nice to have a choice!

Site launched today, Stick Customizer, I'm amazed and disappointed at the same time, I was kind of expecting more options as far as graphics go.
Thoughts?

I'm curious if anybody here is going to order one. Personally, I cannot bring myself to buy a brand new retail stick at MSRP. It's just insane. Can't beat the pro stock pricing, in my opinion.
Now, if there were to be some kind of deal for a dozen sticks at $125 per stick or something with no warranty, it would be a different story.

my order is in. pro stock sticks are always too stiff for me. even retail sticks are stiffer than I like and no one offers the curve I like in Intermediate sticks so when Warrior offered the Senior stick in a 65 flex I jumped on it since I could have the Lidstrom curve on it.
always looking for non Reebok L & XL shells......

so I walked up onto my front porch this afternoon and look what was waiting for me!
navy with minimal graphics, velvet grip, shark skin blade, rounded handle, 65 flex, Lidstrom curve, name and number on shaft.
woot!!!! can't wait to try it Wednesday at practice!
interestingly enough my order status page didn't change until today even though it was shipped on 9/6.
