Eichel rolling out the new 2S pro mitts. Can't wait, I've seen concept drawings of them and they're nice.

Yes it will. I saw the custom Bauer kit at the hockey shop today and the tongues had this option

sucks for the manufacturer more. They're shooting themselves in the foot. Quicker new releases means smaller bookings especially that high price point.

The new model turnover is ridiculous if you ask me which no one did. Sticks especially. I’m getting tired of listening to Catherine Ward talk about how “day opdemized da kick poooint” and poof! New CCM stick... oh wait folks but that’s not all! Before the cashier even gives you your receipt ccm is optimizing the sigmatextechoraelastech Carbon fiber that saves 1.7 grams for only another $259.99!!! Which is a fancy way of saying “we shouldn’t have rolled out a new stick if we couldn’t make sure the blade wasn’t going to explode if it got too close to a roll of clear tape so 2.0 whatever it is! Ok I’m done

Sometimes they roll a stick out and try to get us to quickly forget by rolling another one out right after it too (the FT1 anybody?). I agree, they shouldn't be doing it every single year. But that's why I like the pro stock LK models. You get the new updated stick look for half the price and it still performs awesome.

It's a big part of the reason Bauer ended up in the trouble they got themselves into.

The ft1 has a backstory though involving the sale of ccm and no longer being allowed to manufacture with TaylorMade, that's why there was such a quick turnover on that line.
