The retail version has updates, but when you take a pro glove that’s super simplified, the back roll design does look similar. They fit a tad more snug than apx2s or 1Xs, IMO.

I know its been brought up with Doughty a couple of days ago but it seem like Bauer has officially killed anything Easton. We've seen Doughty using Easton mitts with Bauer stitched over Easton; We've seen Kessel, Bozak, Letang and Doughty (may be forgetting a couple others) allowed to use Easton sticks. However, early on in the pre-season; it seems Bauer has put their foot down:

the fingers in the retail 1x lites are super snug. Definitely feel over-padded imo. Hopefully the pro stock versions have normal fingers.

I believe that they are no longer paying the licensing fees for a product that is no longer on store shelves. All the names mentioned here are hardcore Easton believers, so it's reasonable to assume that they continue to get their Easton stick but they will now be painted as the newest Bauer models.
Understandable. Although I'm an Easton lover I frankly think it's a nice change, given that the CX graphic is over 3 years old now.

Easton builds are still available but everything will have Bauer graphics now. Started phasing out "Easton" branded products towards the end of last season. Wonder if the Easton glove builds are still a option or if they are only offering the Bauer Vapor/Nexus/Supreme construction builds now.

Its a great thing for Bauer to stop producing "Easton" graphic sticks.

What I don’t understand about the Dallas guys who all still wear those buckets, they all leave it blank on the front but guys on other teams like Sam Bennett and Mike Cammalleri (at least on the Oilers last season) have a Bauer logo or sticker on the front... why wouldn’t everyone have it rebranded as Bauer? It drives me nuts seeing that ugly blank look lol
