This may have been brought up already, but anyone notice that Panarin is wearing retail CCM pants with blue material sewn into the bottom by equipment staff?

I don’t know if this has been mentioned but panarin is rocking retail tacks pants and has been all season.

Not sure why he can't just have CCM make him a CBJ colorway retail/pro stock.

My guess is he has zero intention of staying in Columbus so he told CCM to save their materials

Guys always try stuff regardless of their agreement. I know Niedderreiter got a sample batch of Warriors to try right around his trade because he had been in a slump.
Last I heard hes going to be trying some of their mitts next too because they've been working for him.

Guys definitely try other stuff but most of the time its in practice, when you're getting sponsorship dollars or have an agreement with them they generally don't want you on TV using someone else's stuff. Practice is fine because its not on TV. If he's trying Warrior gloves as well then I would say it sounds like he's going down the same route as Larkin did, started with him trying a stick and Bauer everything else and then eventually he just moved to all Warrior

Keep in mind a lot of guys that are head to toe in a certain brand arent necessarily getting paid significant money. The big names are obviously but theres a fall off after that.

Definitely, aside from the big guys most are lucky to get any money. Usually they just get stuff and no sponsorship dollars. I guess if you aren't getting paid money then what do you really care

Not really. We did this with my lacrosse team. It’s a big sticker that’s designed to go over the helmet. It works really well actually. Look up Headwrapz. It’s way more popular in lacrosse.
