It was actually a girl lol
Used the new Vapor Flylite today. Felt a lot heftier and less maneuverable than the 1x lite. Not a fan of them using Easton's elliptical taper. Couldn't feel the puck as well as the 1x lite or ADV. Graphics look good though imo

I've never been a fan of the elliptical taper. They've generally felt bottom heavy to me.

Exactly. The balance of the stick was so bottom heavy compared to a 1x lite or ADV. I think that's the exact opposite of how a top tier vapor line stick should play. Bauer should have just released the ADV with a new name, instead of creating this "Easton hybrid" junk. Warrior is smart for releasing their Fantom twig, especially since they know Bauer is not re-releasing or reintroducing the ADV.

Maybe I miss something, but that clear helmet is just a demo piece to show one element of the construction, but is missing all the EPP foam etc, right? So that wouldn't offer any sort of protection?

Its a demo helmet to show the technology for in store usage...
Bauer did the same thing for gloves a few years ago I believe.

Its a demo helmet to show the technology for in store usage...
Bauer did the same thing for gloves a few years ago I believe.
They did color coded sticks for shops to show the flex zones too

this is exactly what it is. it's to show dealers and employees how the tech works at demos.

lol to thinking is was a real bucky.
but yes like guys have stated it is more or less to show off tech. Actually i remember a buncha years ago i was skating at an event with a bunch of other guys from the forum and one dude had bauer gloves with a clear skin to show colorful different types of foam and other parts underneath, it was pretty wild. Looked like he was wearing skittles on his hand.

Huh, to each their own I guess, I actually liked the Stealth RS, have one with a broken blade somewhere in my basement. Thought the original one was a good stick

I have the original one and I think I’ve used it twice at best. It has that retail Getzlaf paddle curve, just not a fan at all

Ah, the square toe one? I had the Iginla curve which I believe is the equivalent of a P92 and really liked it
