am34 using stx last night as many of you have heard probably by now.

What gloves is Kris Versteeg wearing here for the ‘one last shift’ event? They almost look like Warrior QRE with a CCM cuff. He seemed to have worn a lot of Warrior gloves over the year and when he played in Rockford he wore CCM FT1’s

Nylander rocking blacked out 2X Pro skates. Bauer released "blacked out" versions of the original 1X skates after the normal release, I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same with the 2X Pros. Especially since they came out with their "Shadow Version" twigs. Will be a nice option for people who hate all the silver and yellow hits on the current 2X Pros.

Dont mean to temper your excitement, but he just sharpied or blacked out that boot.

 

You can see the red coming through on the quarter and if it was a legit colorway, the bauer logo wouldnt be blacked out.

Spray paint maybe? I think Dougie Hamilton used to do that to his Bauers.

Any idea on best paint/markers to use for skates? I’d love to get rid of some colour on my skates.

Regardless of whether they are painted or not, I can see Bauer releasing a version similar to the first 2X Pro prototypes; but completely blacked out. Getting rid of all the silver and just having small red accents, like the 1X LE. After all, they released 3 versions of the 1X. It's only a matter of time before they release another version of the 2X Pro.

Paint pens i believe sharpie makes them. Ive used them to black out certain silver parts of my apx2s

I doubt Bauer will come out with an LE Black version.

Doesnt Nylander always liked dark skates? They are probably painted/sharpied.
