Better picture of the blade with an explanation. Apparently the top half is stiff to help for shot speed.

Give an elite player elite minutes and he'll put up points. Who woulda thunk? Not the Kings, apparently.
I’m guessing you didn’t watch his games early in the season when he thought he was in the KHL still and was trying to go from end to end and getting stripped of the puck every time.
