I was mostly disappointed with the reverse retros. Most, like my beloved Flames "blasty" jersey, look like Chinese knock-offs you'd find on eBay.

That said, there were a few winners. My personal faves were Arizona, Montreal, and Tampa.

Word has it that Calgary will be using the mismatched (but used at the time) "pedestal" stripe pants to accompany their reverse retro jerseys. Credit goes to TheRealPepman over at Calgarypuck for this mock up and I hope he doesn't mind me reposting it here, but this is what the uniform in its totality is said to look like:



If true, Calgary can keep their jersey, but I am willing to do terrible, TERRIBLE things to get my hands on a pair of those pants in a Bauer Nexus/One95 build in a size medium.

Agree 100%, way too many gloves just plain Black. So many options to liven up colorways and differentiate each team's gloves somewhat.

I think I actually have a pair of game worn CCM pants from that era of the flames somewhere. Always thought they were a subtle nice touch on the side details.

Yes, they will be worn for 5-6 games apparently.
