Anybody notice Ryan Ellis' strange helmet at the WHC? Looks like CCM V08 foam inside a CCM Resistance shell. Very strange and I wonder why he isn't just in a V08 like in Nashville...

Noticed this while I was in Russia, probably not wearing a v08 because nashville doesnt wear black and ccm doesnt make them anymore

why did they discontinue the v08? they should keep it around like the 4500 has been around for forever.

My friend that does the equipment for the Lemieux Fantasy Camp was told by the pro CCM rep they can still do the V08, they ordered some for some guy you couldn't use the Resistance.

The CCM Resistance doesn't have cream padding on the inside like the V08 does. Looks like a Resistance shell with V08 padding.

Pretty sure that is the new Resistance 110 that CCM is coming out with soon.

Yup, just Googled it and you're correct WB, it's the Resistance 110.
