What stood out to me with a photo the Rangers posted yesterday was the new sponsorship ‘patch’ on their practice jersey isn’t a patch at all. It’s a screen printed logo 

Its a digitally printed product that is first printed onto the white transfer material, cut out, then heat pressed directly onto the garment. You can tell there's a little gloss on the image so i dont think its sublimated. Stahls Cad Printz is what it could be but knowing the Rangers they probably make these in house like everything else. 

A 14 color screen printed sponsor logo isn't cheap to produce no matter where you get it done so these newer digital products are great for multi color images like that.

With Tkachuk switching over it makes sense when you read the statement from their website and what they are going for when it comes to a brand ambassador.

What I do find interesting is that Sherwood is owned by Canadian Tire last I heard. I wonder if the accessibility of genuine Pro Stock will be mass available given their distribution.

the Avs setup is spectacular. not a fav of the Vegas jersey. my brain associated that basic pattern with Calgary.

The blue looks good with the home jerseys, but awful with the road whites

A little late to the party, but currently watching the Avs game. I wish they would reverse the burgandy and blue on the home jersey and make the shoulders and arms on the away blue as well. Maybe it all will grow on me more, but it would be so much better of a color scheme.

I didn't realize how bad the black looked til I saw how beautiful the blue is, it really pulls it all together and makes for a really clean look..  The Blue/white gloves look great imo.

I watched the Avs game last night, and it looked like someone had messed with the RGB sliders on my TV, making all the black look royal blue. 

It was jarring when I first saw those uniforms on TV.

Agreed. They kind of looked like blue and maroon blobs out there. I also think the new setup is flat out disrespectful to the classic Sakic/Forsberg era look.

It just looks like a bad imitation of a proper uniform. I don't like them. Looks like a high school team ripping off a pro team's look while still trying to preserve a bit of identity.

Just playing Devils' advocate, everyone complains that too many teams use plain Black and it is boring. The Avs try and spice it up and although not perfect, get ripped apart right away. Guess we are never happy!!

While I liked the black, the blue actually looked pretty good. The only place they have black in their color palate is the puck on their primary logo so it didn't make sense why they had black gloves or pants to begin with
