How do they compare against the retail SX100 ones? In terms of length and performance

Thanks!

If you search here and on Google you'll see the comparison between retail and pro stock Edge socks has been discussed quite a bit. Basically, pro stock socks are made from more durable material and appear to have much better quality control on the construction, IMO. They last far longer than retail. Retail also has the velcro tabs, which are only useful on a limited number of jocks/shorts.

Size-wise, retail Edge sizing used to be terrible with a wide gap between the junior and senior size (senior was way to big for most average-sized adults wearing 14" or 15" shins). Pro stock socks come in Large, XL, and XL+. Now retails come in Intermediate too, which is closer to the pro stock Large size and is much more reasonable for average adults.

I have intermediate in the retail and they fit good. So I should try a Large in pro stock?

Yes. XL or XL+ will be too big.
