I literally just got mine done yesterday. I don't see any holes, so I assume they line up perfectly.

I've skated two pairs of these completely into the ground Mince, and now working on my third. Absolutely no problems with the tendon guard, which was a nice surprise coming from Bauer. Boots can take an absolute beating and nothing will happen. However, there is a known issue with the eyelets, they almost disintegrate after a lot of use, so they need to be replaced after like, a year + of heavy use. Also the stock steel is trash and breaks really easily (three times I've used the stock steel, and three times it's broken). Other than that, these skates are beauties and I won't skate in anything else.

Thanks Chris. Were the eyelets a problem with PS ones, retail, or both? I picked up a lightly used pair and I was a little worried about stitching around the tendon guards. reinforced it with the speedy and its good to go. Mainly I was wondering if I should start looking for a backup pair or wait a few more months.

after 1 yr of moderate to heavy use (RBZ90) Ive seen issues with outsole separation, the eyelets and the tendon guards, but nothing overly serious. the boot is still very stiff and I've replaced the steel once after it cracked in the middle. got a second pair recently.

Just throwing this out there... For the retail price of these wouldn't you expect these to last upwards of 3 years?
I myself owned a pair of these for a week. I skated on them once and hated them and then started to read about all of the durability issues so I ditched them rather than getting used to them.
