I have the chance to buy a pair locally for around 60$ and there in almost mint shape, I was just wondering if it would be worth my money ?
I've seen these same skates being sold for 100$+ online and at a few pro shops around the city and are in much more terrible shape.
Just looking for some feed back on them, the only thing right not that's keeping me from buying is there half a size to big for me haha.

Totally! I just sold a pair on Ebay for $100. They were in great shape, but not mint. Basically, for $60, you can't go wrong. They were the best of the best in their time.

Have you actually tried them on? Sometimes your foot fits different sizes in different brands.

Oh. I didn't see that last sentence in your question. I should read more thoroughly. I wouldn't buy them if they were too big. But like Ian said, try them on. You never know.

Well i wore my brothers APX skates for a game (mine had a broken blade at that time) And they were a size 8E or EE, cant remember and they fit perfectly, So thats why im not sure, Is the half size gonna really make a big difference in performance or will it stay the same, and if it matters as well i'd be coming for Reebok 9k's, the 09 model? whichever model is before the current.

If they're to big, you wont be able to skate properly. You mentioned you can buy locally so I'm assuming thats from a store, kijiji or craigslist. Try them on if you can, it'll be worth it.

What Ian said. Totally. And also, if the size 8EE (it is EE) fit perfectly, and these are 8.5D, you'll find almost no difference. If they're 8.5EE, they could still be great too. I have a pair of 7.5EE X:60s and a pair of 7.5D One100s. They both fit pretty much the same. The moral of the story is go, try them on. The guy can't hassle you for not buying them if you try them on and they don't fit. And even if he does, who cares?

I do have to say they are my favorite skate to date, I havent tried a more modern pair that fits better. Have been using the 8090/s9/s95 since their release.
