Hey guys,
So just out of curiosity I was wondering if anyone else has had a bad experience with the Islanders Pro Shop?
I recently bought some gloves from them and had a pretty bad time dealing with them.
Any thoughts on it will be appreciated, I wanted to get some feedback before I make it a point to warn people not to buy from them.
Thanks!

I never dealt with them, but have tried.
They put gloves aside for me, I called and email and never got a answer back.
I bought the same gloves from UCLA instead.
What is your bad experience with them?

Bought a pair of gloves from them. However, they failed to mention a couple of things that were wrong with the gloves even when I had asked them on the phone if there was any modifications or damage to the gloves. Only gave me half of the story. So I got a pair of gloves from them with no padding inside at all which I really cannot wear. I emailed the shop manager who was the one who I initially contacted and let him know. He proceeded to argue with me via email about how the gloves are game used and so on and so forth. I know Scott had a couple issues with them and I've heard a couple other people as well having issues more or less relating to their customer service. I'm thinking about posting the email thread and letting people know not to buy from them.

Finally offered today but I think I'm trading them away already. It took over a week for him to even offer. It's ridiculous. That should have been his first email back to me.

I buy maybee 4 of 5 times from the Ny Islanders and for me, the expericence was very good and also the price of what I'm from Us. I'm leaving in Quebec and I do always my orders by phone and they ship very quicly. ( Same buisiness day or next day after that I'm paid ) For the description of the items that I'm buy, most of time i'm buy brand new gear so I know what I will receive except for my last purchase who I see the condition of the skates when I open the Box ! The skates was in pretty good condition for the price!!
Thanks Max

if you aren't picky about glove specs its a great place to buy. I am pretty particular and wasn't pleased that I spent $140 (shipped) with modifications made to the gloves that I wasn't made aware of and received very poor customer service when I confronted them about it.
