Went to the apple store because the cameras on my phone stopped working after the last update, the "Genius guy" spent more time talking to me about food, then leaned in and said "alright i've bullshitted you enough for this long, lets get you a new phone so they think we troubleshot it this long, its not worth fixing i'll say that"

That guy was fucking amazing.

Feel free to check out my hockey reviews, or random stuff

Will share more details once everything is worked out. But, a member here was very thoughtful in offering to help rectify a wrong. It should end up being a pretty cool story.

Just wanted to come on here and say how grateful I am to be apart of this website and to have so many cool people looking out for me. I really wanted to put together a Cap's winter classic set from this year as I love the colorway and if it wasn't for a few integral members on this site keeping their eyes open, or working with me to get the best deal for both of us, it wouldn't have happened. I know there's a lot of bullshit on here about people flipping stuff, or ripping people off, but there are still some beauties out there. For that, I thank you, all of you.

I just wanted to bring this topic back to share my satisfaction with some companies. I know I've had a truck full of complaints about SLS, eBay, USPS, etc, but I've had fantastic dealings with the following companies:

- Stick Bandits: Great quality decals, outstanding customer service, and very quick turnaround. They can make any decals you like. Much better quality IMO than the Sport Star ones.

- Pro Jersey Lettering AKA Gianfranco Lobello: Very friendly guy, does great quality work for jersey lettering. He customized a few Sharks jerseys and made custom NCAA crests for me and all of them turned out fantastic. He can't do embroidery, but can do anything tackle twill and simple. Quick turnaround and made sure everything was satisfactory before sending them out to me. Top notch.

- This one's pretty obvious, but Custom Pro Repair. Ken and Pat are literally some of the best humans on the planet. They don't have to do what they do for us mortals and just stick with the pros, but they provide us a truly amazing service. Also going to give Joe @ Hockey Menders some credit. He does a solid job with repalms and is a great option when you don't want to wait months for CPR. The last time I had a few gloves repalmed, he called me to check in and make sure everything was okay (I was selling some gloves he worked on, nothing to do with his quality of work.) His red and yellow AX Suede palms are outstanding.

Also thank you to the members that have used my sharpening, mounting, and repair services. I am grateful for each and every single one of you for supporting my little hole in the wall business.

"What is your lowest/best price?" is NOT an offer.

Seeing as it took 5 years to reopen this topic, I thought I could add a good story with all the bad going on. With all of the gyms closed, workout gear has been few and far between and alot of junk was out there for sale. Was looking for a weight set with a bench, curl bar, etc for my 15 year old son. Finally found a respectable set with alot included for $400/BO. I responded with $350 and she told me 5 people had responded with same offer. I told her my son was paying for it and I would pick it up same day. Done deal. Show up with truck and trailer at the house and my son handed over the money. When the husband came out to show the set, we realized it was one of the Street Hockey coaches we had played against for years. At that point he handed Noah back $50. We took off and the next day she texted and wanted my address. The very next day was a check for$300 and a note for Noah to put it towards anything Hockey. As I said, with all the bad in the world going on this was a very refreshing experience that was very much appreciated and a great example to set for a 15 year old.
