I didn't see a topic on them, so I thought I'd start one. I'd been using Superfeet Yellows for a few years, loved 'em. But my feet have been changing a lot recently and now I need to find some insoles where the arch fits a bit farther forward than the Yellows, but still has the same support. Any help is appreciated.

I think you might have to go into customs... Superfeet and Graf offers them ! Or maybe your yellows are just worn out ?

They're pretty new, the arch just sits too far back now. Do you know how much the Superfeet customs cost? I can't seem to find any pricing for them on the website.

I think they were a tad cheaper than the Graf's which were around 130$ ( if memory serves me correctly ) I think the retail for custom superfeet are 120$, but I do remember paying around 80$ for mine, they were on special since no one was buying any...

I've been on super feet for a long time too, and its been the same pair, it no longer feels supportive like it used to so now i have to loosen my skates to make em better, its either time for new footbeds, super feet or you can try the graf sidas boots, i know the graf boots have a little more padding in them which is good

stupid question 2: do you remove the footbed when you put in your superfeet or do you put the superfeet on top of the footbed?

Its not a stupid question. I remove the footbed since the super feet is a direct footbed, although i'm sure somewhere somehow someone has left the original in there for added support probably. Don't know if it helps or not though.

Darn jury is still out.

I removed mine. The yellow superfeet work pretty well, I haven't had any issues with mine ever since.

You remove the original footbed, having 2 footbeds would just make your skate tighter for the top of your foot

I have knowledge of pro stock gear, but I have never changed out footbeds in skates. I just buy skates and use the hell out of them. No complaints here about pain of having problems. Am I missing out on something will it really make a difference I will feel? Please I know ppl will say come on this is your feet were talking about of course you will notice it. I just never thought of paying $50 or more to get a pair online. I just have always bought skates baked them and used stock insoles. I love trying new gear so much I dont really stick to a favorite specially in skates.

The insole difference really depends on your foot, if the Superfeet Yellows fit your foot, aka the arch sitting perfectly, you'll probably love them. However if they don't, like my current situation, you will have pain. Since you say your feet don't hurt with the stock insoles, don't even bother changing unless you can try the aftermarket ones first.

An update on my issue, I grabbed the stock insoles out of my work boots (replaced them with the Copper DMP from Superfeet) and they fit my arch perfectly. Due to their lower profile, they sit a bit lower in the forefoot, so I just need to grab a heatgun and work out some hotspots in my skates and I'll be good till I find a good performance insole.

Not sure if you've already tried this or if you're already in the largest size but why don't you try on a size or two up in the yellows and trim them to size? I remember hearing a superfeet rep saying the sizing is just a guideline and that it's a good idea to try on different sizes to match your arch.

I'm already in the largest size cause I have bigass feet. Having size 13 shoes and 12 skates doesn't leave me much option when things don't fit quite right. Also, the heelcup fits right, which is where sizing up helps.

What's the difference between custom super feet and orthotics other than price ??
I use super feet cause I have flat feet and pronate with one side, blade is realigned as well
My pronation is getting worse so I'm thinking its time for orthotics.

Update I changed to superfeet yellow's in my eastons and I love them! I do not find a big diff in the toe area but the heel hold awesome! Feels like an added height. They only took me 1 skate to get adjusted. Love them! Never played any crazy long ice times yet to see if they will help my feet any for comfort over long periods. So far I am happy.
