Anyone see Mess and some others use these. Ever see one for sale? I am sure a shop could rig something up or a shoe cobbler. Always thought they would be sick for beer leagues!

this pic isn't bad but some of his were so thick!

Just make sure you have the moustache for it if you get those!

I love those straps, but I wear a 9900 or V10 helmet and a cage, so I couldn't exactly fit the motif of the leather chin strap.

Also check your LHS- they may have a couple sets kicking around. I remember seeing some in the various shops I've worked at over the years, cant imagine there was a huge rush on them...

Just came across this- http://www.ebay.com/...=item337ece421d A search for the brand on google may yield you some less expensive options.

Been lazy but bought all the necessary things to make these. Leather, snaps, etc. But can't figure out the process of sewing them . There seems to be kit that is sold at Michaels where I bought the stuff, but its never there. I might take a few down to the local shoemaker and see if he can sew them for me.

Anyone know if you can do it by hand, or do you need a machine? I want to make them double leather.
