So I've been using the 8K Pro elbow size 5 for a while now and always considered them a little big. Huge elbows by comparison of most guys I play with. I'm about 5'11" but always had skinny arms so I've been holding out for some size 4s. Made the mistake of getting retail size 4, which were way too small (shouldn't even consider an adult size). Size said 5'4" -6' and I don't know what six foot adult male could wear those. Anyways, sold the retail ones and finally found some size 4 8k Pros. However they had the cuff extension removed, but were in great shape otherwise. After trying them out they seem a little small, but don't know if it's because they have the cuff removed and have grown used to the size 5 with cuffs. My question is what size are most of you using? I know the size 5s are hard to find and the 4s are very rare, but is anyone else using a 5 holding out for a 4? I just hate the feeling of being in between sizes, but I have a game in a few days and will try the 4s out and see if I still think they are too small.

i wavered in size 4 and 5 with my jofa elbows, the 4 had the extended cuff so i didnt have an issue and the five was just right but felt too big

Feel free to check out my hockey reviews, or random stuff

Had 5's, were just a touch too big. I need the 8K style because I have long arms. In 4's now, they fit great with no slipage.

Both seem to fit fine, but I'm starting to wish the size 4 had the cuff extension so they would be longer. I will say before I discovered the jofa protective line I was constantly adjusting elbows during games and practice. I will probably keep these forever...until something better comes along, but who knows when that will be.

I can't stand that feeling either, however I sold my 5s because I felt they were a tad to big. If I ever find 4s i'll be more than happy to try them out.

I think 4s are your size. Probably would've been better if yours still had the cuffs.
I'm about 5'10" 150lbs and my 4s with cuffs removed are perfect.
I've heard good things about Easton 700 NHL and the new Warrior Dynasty.

well, i am 5'9" with skiny arms, and i found that 8k pro size 4 are much bigger than retail reebok 9k. here are some pics as a comparison. also i asked my wife to shorten my cuffs on my eagles because i didnt want to cut the wristguard on rbk 8k. now they fit perfectly.
