I understand selling high & maximizing profits. But those prices are just outrageous. Charging $450 for Komorov/JVR helmets, $750 for used Nylander gloves is beyond highway robbery. They are still trying to move dusty Phaneuf and Colton Orr gloves at full price as well. The Leafs organization continues to take advantage of their die hard fan base. When the team was last place, ticket prices were still going up. Now that the team is good, they know they can charge anything they want. Now I understand why Nylander wants $8 million a year... He probably saw what they are charging for all his used gear lol

There’s also a big difference if they’re trying to push it as memorabilia.

Wow. I go to both Edmonton and Calgary’s sales regularly and both of those clubs have extremely good prices. I guess when you’re the “Mecca of the hockey world” you can charge the fans like that though

The sale was a bust n my opinion. like others have mentioned absolutely no new logo items except for helmets.

Helmet bags were $75 which was up from $50 before. All the older logo rink pants/jackets/warm up gear was $50 a piece. There wasn't anything crazy for gloves, maybe one or two decent pairs. Practice jerseys old logo 3.0 were 100 cad, all 58 i'm pretty sure. Pants were all CCM, bigger sizes and not really good models. Older bags available only, can't remember price. No toiletries or laundry bags. It was the first time where i had left a leafs sale and not spent a good chunk of change. It was pretty disappointing as they haven't had a sale in 2 years or so.

Looking for BIOSTEEL jersey made by UA or Adidas.

Looking for Bauer Pro defender elbows size Large

I asked the staff about the 3.0's, they were all 58 or 58 +

It would be smarter for them to move the stuff at acceptable prices. Like 200-300 for gloves, like all gloves (minues super rare). And like 100$ for marlies gloves. A lot more people play hockey than collect rare items. I get so many comments on my stuff at shinny, and I tell them all I get it for 50- 200 (depends on item) and people actually want to go out and buy pro stock. They would move more items and actually make a profit.

A buddy of mine went. Said there were 10 people in line. Not much to report. Skates were $200 and beat, some helmets and gloves but either traded/released guys or too beat up to justify price. Think he grabbed a skate bag and practice jersey

Yup, they have socks at most of the sales. Although they raised the price to $25 a pair

That’s pretty wild. The Oilers have boxes of all kinds of socks from game to practice and it’s $5 for practice and $10 for gamers. Why is everything so expensive in Toronto lol
