A few months back I went from a retail pair of Bauer APX2 to pro stock Warrior QRL w/ a fixed cuff. I liked the QRL's, but really wanted to give the flex cuff a shot so...
I picked up this pro stock pair from PSH. I've never owned a pair of gloves with shot blockers on them, but they seem to make the backhand extremely tight. Taking these gloves off requires more effort than it should; they're just too tight so these will be going back. I do really like the cuff and the spandex gussets vs the micronash gussets I've used in the past so hopefully I'll find another pair in the future.
Remembering how much I liked the APX2's, I found a Blackhawks colorway and picked them up. They have shortened cuffs compared to the retail pair I used previously and while I would have preferred a different palm, that'll be easy enough to change down the road.
Unfortunately, I'm going in for surgery next month to repair torn muscles and cartilage in my shoulder from a game injury I incurred a few weeks ago so it'll be a few months before I use these gloves, but I planned on alternating between the Bauer and Warrior since they're pretty similar.
