But seriously guys. No gadgets needed. Just taking each piece out of your bag makes a world of difference.

ESPECIALLY wash your frequently used garments/fabrics a few times per month! Just clean, common sense

i've said it once and will say it again. 

 

maxxdry boot dryer for your skates and gloves depending which version you buy. I use one that you just leave plugged in overnight for my skates. 

 

Your shoulders, gloves elbows, shin pads and pants can be taken to the laundromat. I would separate it accordingly. My gloves get washed in the smallest tumbler by themselves or with some baselayers. pants are done separately, everything else left can go in the big tumbler. remember to air dry them well after. i do this once every couple months as i'm playing a bunch. 

 

Helmet i hand wash in a basin with soapy water. put some kind of tape over the decals to prevent water on them as much as possible. Air dry it well too. 

 

Another big tip is to run two sets of gear at least, i have at least two of everything except skates. That way your gear can dry out well and not be used back to back. Also always wear baselayers as it traps the dead skin and stuff coming off your body so they don't go on your equipment as much. 

 

This may seem like work but at the same time i don't want some nasty ass skin condition/rash and i can't stand when some dude sits down beside you, opens their bag and makes you gag.

The new colorway is good, im a sucker for stripes but theres already alot of teams that use dark colors, i actually like the royal blue oilers colorway but i wish the stripes on the pants didnt flare out like bell bottoms haha
