I would go for a pair of 1Ss in blues regular color. Not a huge fan of the retro colors, but those shattys look nice

Mail day. Can't wait to try out this crazy curve! Also can anyone help identify what's the actual build of this stick based on the stick code?
 

 

Kinda weird. I’m not a stick expert by any means but a couple things that I can read from it would be the FC is Fuse Constant which means it’s not a true one piece stick (blade fused in to a shaft), constant would be the kick point being constant stiffness throughout. Jetspeeds normally should have HK (hybrid) kickpoint though so I don’t think it’s a Jetspeed yet this has the 2SP which should mean it’s an FT2 lol so I’m not quite sure what the actual build is supposed to be... the J2S just means that it’s painted like an FT2. I know someone here will know a finite answer on this one

[Golden Gate Sharpening]

Sharks 2.0 with teal trim and old logo. I had no idea white/teal 2.0's even existed. This one didn't come with an NHL patch (that I'll be adding) but did come with the NHL size tag on the bottom and MIC tag on the collar. I'll be wearing this with my Sharks 25th Heritage shell & socks. 

 

 

CCM Crazy Strong U+ tapered shaft with Hoapa P28 ABS blade. Since outdoor roller is the only hockey available right now, I wanted to pick up a second tapered shaft. Low flex tapered shafts don't come around too often - thanks Miller55!

Yep! Been trying to find some Chychrun kachina gloves for a while, so had to snag them.

MiC TBL Practice Jerseys. Brother lucked out and spent the winter in Florida since he was working remotely anyway. Grabbed these. Just looking for a blue one to complete the set.. Saw a few 58G cut, might grab one and tailor it down to a 56. Have a blue MiC 3.0 but it's 58 and those are harder to take in.

Actually he went to get some overgrips for his tennis racquet and spotted these in the sporting good store. Saw they were mic and grabbed a pair for me and a pair for himself lol. He says the whole area is flooded with TBL gear since they won the cup. Wish the had the Pex Imaging patches like the pro issued, but I'm happy with them anyway

So I'll be honest, I'm kinda getting out of the pro stock game. My 7 and 5 year old daughters just started skating at the Blackhawks practice facility, and I'd rather dump my money towards them. So I went on the hunt for some Hawks gear so we can all match (they have Hawks jerseys). I figured the only stuff I'd buy was some MIC jerseys if I ever saw them. Well go figure, this week I'm sitting in the hotel and every color MIC jersey I wanted showed up online. I got home today from being out of town and they were all here waiting for me. 

 

 

Funny how things come full circle. My first ever pro stock gear item was a pair of Nike Bauer 4-Roll gloves back in 2008, just like the ones Kaner wore when he started in the league. I went to Hawkquarters in downtown Chicago and had all different color authentic Reebok practice jerseys. I've been all over the map in terms of gear, but I'm settling down and am right back home representing the Hawks.

This sounds like a twist on the “one big last bank robbery” plot theme. In this case it sounds like you pulled off the final heist and avoided the downfall at the end. Happy you can share that comradery with your daughters, sounds idyllic.
