So I'll be honest, I'm kinda getting out of the pro stock game. My 7 and 5 year old daughters just started skating at the Blackhawks practice facility, and I'd rather dump my money towards them. So I went on the hunt for some Hawks gear so we can all match (they have Hawks jerseys). I figured the only stuff I'd buy was some MIC jerseys if I ever saw them. Well go figure, this week I'm sitting in the hotel and every color MIC jersey I wanted showed up online. I got home today from being out of town and they were all here waiting for me. 

 

Funny how things come full circle. My first ever pro stock gear item was a pair of Nike Bauer 4-Roll gloves back in 2008, just like the ones Kaner wore when he started in the league. I went to Hawkquarters in downtown Chicago and had all different color authentic Reebok practice jerseys. I've been all over the map in terms of gear, but I'm settling down and am right back home representing the Hawks.

 

Solid dude! The market has been flooded with them recently. I was able to complete my set as well. Seems like a lot of us have been reevaluating our gear during quarantine. I know I, personally, picked up quite a bit, but over the last week have gone through and am looking to keep closer to a minimum rather than maximum amount of stuff

Haha, true! I'm not totally getting out of it... after all, not like I'm using retail gloves! LOL!

For sure. I would just prefer to spend the money on my girls hockey camps, or outdoor activities like grilling, lawn furniture, and beer.

Floating cuff Detroit 2S Pro's. I always thought these were clones of QRL cuffs made for certain pros to get them in to Bauer gloves because I've seen them on 1X Lites too. Looks like they're actually going to be the retail cuffs for the upcoming Ultrasonic gloves.

Two shells I couldn't pass up, but unfortunately I got the wrong size in both! 

 

The Warrior is a girdle shell, not a pant shell, so it's too small. And the CCM is too big (which I knew when I ordered it). If anyone picked up a medium PP10 that wants to trade for a large, I'm happy to swap!

Yeah two boys. To be honest, I kind of hope they don’t go into hockey. It’s expensive enough funding my out-of-shape beer leaguing ass through hockey...but two boys?!
