Suzuki, what a bad trade
A good trade for us 🙄

Never thought I'd be back in CCM skates, but here we are...
Pro stock FT4 Pro with oversized runners and thick felt tongues. Made in the great country of Canada. These felt great my first skate in them.

shell #142 Chicago Mission and finally something to wear with my green MIAs!
Top it off with some neon green laces and green Bladetech steel and you'll be all set!
Curious if they’ve fixed the rivet issues that plagued their previous models. I don’t trust their skates with Tuuks mounted on them after my experience.
I hope not because re-riveting and reinforcing VH/original model True skates (plus fixing tongue velcro) made me a lot of money in repairs
For real though, I believe the latest edition of True customs fixed this issue. The replaceable screws instead of copper rivets in the tendon guards seems to help as well.
"What is your lowest/best price?" is NOT an offer.

The new Trues are beauties for sure. The thinner outsoles are similar the Easton Mako II's; I had to use #5 (very short) rivets to mount Tuuks on them.
If you're having problems with True rivets, I recommend adding a small amount of epoxy over each rivet to protect them from sweat and wear. Leave the middle of each rivet open so your skate tech can remove them easily if necessary. In addition to taking your footbeds out after every skate, that should help prolong the life of the rivets.

When I got my skates right after the True/VH merger, I went through rivets quick frequently. Tried everything everyone told me but it never seems to work. As novahands said, I’d have to see if they’ve completely fixed that issue before going back to them.
- Always looking for new style stars gear, particularly Bauer!

Sorry to hear that, it must be frustrating! I've done a bunch of rivet repairs on customer VH/True skates, but I guess some of them are unfixable. I hope True addresses their rivet issues with their newest skates; the guys that I know with True skates absolutely love them. I had a pair of customs (built for someone else's feet) in 2020 that I enjoyed, but didn't like as much as my Ribcors and Makos. They heat mold and wrap very nicely and have lots of potential if they can get the rivets and tendon guard issues fixed.
I've been in tf9s for over a year at this point and I have no issues with the rivets or the tendon guard.
I've heard good things about the retail Trues so far. Did you have to go 1/2 size down? They open up quite a bit after baking.

Well they’re already going back. Getting replaced with the SVH versionGot mine today as well. Had Tuuks mounted on them. My buddy in the shop mentioned that the bottom of the skate is thinner than any CCM or Bauer skate he has seen before. Cautiously optimistic about them...

Well they’re already going back. Getting replaced with the SVH version
Too short
Too narrow
No heel lock
Lace bite starting
Could only last 45 minutes in them before leaving the ice.
I’d suggest that if you have seriously weird feet (like me) you should get SVH instead. I definitely saw the construction limitations. It’s a pre made shell that they alter the foam on the inside for the foot, rather than a full custom skate.
Took about 3 weeks from order to delivery to LHS
Were they pretty cool about swapping them for SVH? I had some similar complaints with mine, my feet hurt like hell 5 minutes in
