They don't shine helmets in the NHL. It's just that everyone is wearing newer helmets under bright lights. You can try to polish your helmet, but you'll go blind if you keep doing it.

Unless your lookin for retro Kings purple I suggest you don't polish your knob, aahahah I mean helmet.

Hmmm... I've wondered if it wouldn't have been cheaper to rent a polisher than have one...
