The bicep pads were too short on my CCM 07 shoulder pads. Added these pads to cover the gap.

Nice! But don't your elbow pads fill in the gaps?

No, oddly enough. whne the arm is bent the gap was pretty significant.

Not a big overhaul of pads but for Beer League I whipped up these beauties. Mission Thorax all around padded sleeveless shirt with some older Itech shoulder caps. Works perfect. Hugs nice and very mobile. I was no shoulders for the longest time but I took a nice shot to the chest in a tourney and well thought this might help.

^Thanks. I picked the thorax up for dirt cheap on ebay brand new. Had the pads laying around. You can order from monkey for cheap and they have the actual rbk shirts but I wanted real shoulder pads on them.

I had some free time during snowmageddon today so I decided to mod my shoulder pads.

Of course I used the speedy stitcher.  Thanks for the idea guys!

I think the next step might be to pull off the collar bone pads, but I haven't made up my mind yet...

That's some nice speedy stitching. I love that little tool. And do it! Remove the collar.

How hard is it to use the speedy?

I picked it up pretty quickly. The only hard part was punching through the tough padding. I'm hopeless with a needle and thread, but this thing is super easy.

Keep the collarbone padding on, you could flip it up and look like a linebacker out there. :workout:

Grammar talked me into it. Collars are gone. Much better! Pics up in recent pick ups thread.

Wow glad to know Im not the only obsessed one!

I replaced my Jofa shin liners with ones from Eastons for a tighter fight.

I removed the padding from the shoulder cap on my Bauer classic shoulders for better over the shoulder vision. I also cut holes underneth the caps so that the force disappated around the shoulder joint rather than right on it.

I took the bicep protectors off my Easton elbows, and replaced them with just a pad sort of like jofa 9025's

And a simple stupid one I swapped the velcro closures on the legs of my Tackla Expp55's because they kept coming undone the direction they had them.

First pair of frankenpads and I'm very happy with the turn out....the little benefits of working with a professional wardrobe crew :)
