I was told XL shells usually fit L pants and considering warrior pants typically fit bigger I decided to go with the XL only to find out they are 3 inches or more too long.
However, I can make them fit by rolled them up from the top, so I was wondering if this is commonly done or just an all around bad idea

I've rolled the top before on shells that were a little too long. You can also try bringing the shell up a little higher on your pants past the waist. I had a Tackla shell size 56 and had to roll the top a little to make it fit my Easton 52 pants. I couldnt tell a difference when I was on the ice.

Ah thanks alot! I mean as far as comfort and look nothing really changed when rolled up I just wanted to make sure it wasn't an overly odd thing to do.

Nah, you'll be alright. I'm sure other people do weirder things than rolling their shells!

Hey, looking to buy some Easton S17 custom pant shells from PSHG. Does anyone know which size and length fits Reebok MHP7000 size large pants? Thanks!

I too am very unsure about this. I have a small One95 girdle and I can't decide what size would be best.

To wear on top of pants, I would go 1 full size bigger, XL should do it.

Both small and medium will fit.
Small shells are made to fit over small girdles.

I have a Tackla shell in 48/small which is about an inch too short on the legs. But I have a retail Nike/Bauer supreme shell in small that fits perfectly, as you'd expect. Then I have a pro bauer shell in medium that fits perfectly, a pro Reebok shell in large that fits perfectly and a pro Easton shell in I don't know what size - but it does have a 13 scrawled inside and Raffi Torres used the same brand - that fits almost perfectly, but it's a tad too long. So yeah, I'm very confused. I'm down to small or medium, but still I'm unsure.

The problem with the pants shells is that I have found, almost universally, that they legs are too long. I have an Easton non authentic Rangers style custom shell that fits awesome but thats it. I had to shorten my Tackla's and I returned a pair of Easton S17s. The Eagle shells are a decent size length wise.
