I have a CCM shell that I got recently thinking it would fit. It did not. There are no tags inside, but it seemed to me to be about a M or L. As you can see the NHL shield is on the back right leg. I didn't put it there. I don't know who did, because as you can also probably see, those colours haven't really been used in the NHL - or not to my knowledge anyhow. Take it for what it's worth. Regardless of the NHL logo, it's not a retail shell and will look good on someone a bit bigger than me. 

 

12 3/4" is the leg opening, flat across

 

21" in the length from the absolute top to the absolute bottom, running down the middle between the two white stripes

May be a dumb question but is it definitely a pant shell? I use a Bauer girdle and have been looking for girdle shells.

They're basically the same thing, my friend. I wear a girdle and I have pant and girdle shells. They'll both do the trick, my friend.

Really? I tried a few pant shells and they were huge in comparison to the girdle shells. Let me measure the dimensions of my shell and if it's close to yours then I'm very interested in getting this shell.

 

Medium CCM is about a 32-34 waist right?

Looks like it might be more of a girdle shell based on the waste band(or maybe I'm talking out of my ass). Either way, it'll fit well.
