I tried on the E700 today for the first time.
Very impressed, I own a S19 and love it, but the E700 comforts blew me away

Yeah, Im not too sure about the color.
its original, yes, but I dont like it enough to wear it.

I'll see if Easton brings some demo helmets to MSH WinterFest this weekend. If they do I'll report back with my thoughts on it.

It would be nice to get some feedback, LOVE the look of the matte black, if the comfort/performance is there, I'll switch from RBK for sure.

I have not actually, I've been in RBK for a long time. Am I missing something special? Never really used Easton for equipment, only sticks.

it all depends how it will fit you, but it's definitely a helmet thats worth considering.
Its cheaper then Bauer and Reebok's high and helmets.

I just got back from MSH WinterFest... I was really not impressed with the E700 I tried on. Now the new Warrior helmet...

I feel the same way about the matte.
Its original, yes, but its not for me.

I like the Matte but I feel it's much less cool if you're the only person with it. If you put a team together and everyone had Matte E700s, which I'd bet money the Mission factory roller hockey team will have, then it'll look good.

Would Mission do anything besides Bauer helmets seeing that Mission is owned by Bauer now? Just wondering.

Well they have been doing white the couple years. And they have a ton of dudes in 4500/7500s, but I think they'd do the all matte E700s for the flash.

Looks like a snowboard helmet in black. Looks good in white on Steckel.
