I have a referee in my league that had his helmet refinished because he's had it for a couple decades and doesn't want to get a new one. It looked super polished and better than new. I can ask him next time what he paid to have it done.

I’m sure a similar product would work, but I remember seeing a photo of the Penguins equipment room a few years back and they had a stockpile of this stuff.
