Easton Mako II Ice Hockey Skates, senior 8EE. Used to officiate ice hockey for about 4 years. Some tongue wear and have softened up a bit, but still have enough support and steel to be used for a while. They are biased on a zero negative space speed skating concept and are highly thermoformable. The unibase is made of Carbon Fiber. The concept is very similar to the True and VH skates. They are like close cousins. As an official, I can be on the ice for several hours at a time (5+ hours).The ankle padding started to compress a bit and that is why I moved to a new pair (I started to feel the shell on my outer right ankle bone), however; these are still great for a few hours and I could still use them for 6+ hours with gel ankle pads, but already had a new pair waiting in the closet.
